Maybe we all have some form of OCD. I sometime wonder about myself. I am researching because a member of my family has it. I'm not sure where the line should be drawn between someone who has it and someone who does not.

Amit--
I'm sorry you're suffering. You can get better, but you need to get help. Are you on meds? There are very effective meds and other treatments, but you need to get to a professional ASAP.

clomid success unexplained fertility clomid ovulation experiences us

clomid challenge u.s - clomid and exercise

Have you had your hormone levels tested? You should do that. You could have a hormone imbalance. Or a fertillity problem. Stress can also cause you to miss periods. Take a deep breath and relax! I was 35 when I had my first child. When I was 37 I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. My doctor said it was probably a blighted ovum which means it was never a viable pregnancy, and very common - no matter your age. This was in mid-November. By January 2 I was pregnant again, and now have a happy, healthy 18 month old girl. I have pretty much forgotten about the miscarriage at this point. A good friend of mine had her first baby on her 40th birthday. She had a miscarriage with a second pregnancy about a year later. When she asked her doctor why it happened, he said Youre 40 - why do you think it happened? She immediately got a new doctor - and is happily pregnant again. I know at least 2 other women who had miscarriages in their early 30s and went on to have two more babies. Sad as they are, miscarriages are pretty common. It sounds like you dont have any trouble getting pregnant, so you should have no trouble having a second baby! Also - it sounds like your doc is not particularly Maybe you should look into switching to another doctor.

I’ve learned so much about OCD from helping an author who wrote a love story where one of the main characters has OCD. One of her family members has OCD and went through CBT. With all the things I’ve learned about, from exposures to cognitive behavior therapy, the most valuable lesson is that there aren’t enough accurate portrayals of OCD. Even working with publishers can be difficult because of preconceived notions about how OCD can affect someone. Her name is Andrea Kaufman and hopefully her book Oxford Messed Up can help enlighten public perceptions.

As a therapist I find the ERPA exercises (exposure, ritual pervention, and awareness)to be very helpful. Briefly stated, this exercise entails having someone face their fears while preventing from doing the ritual that is often associated with the fear. As this exercise is repeated over and over, the fear that is usually associated with the exposure gradually diminishes.
